  • 5 Powerful Truths When We Worship

Key takeaways from Ptr. Chardon Lewis’ preaching at CCF Sunday Service

    1. Worship blesses the Lord; it brings glory to God. Worship because He is enough ♡
    2. Worship realigns the posture of our mind and heart. It shifts our heart to God.
    3. Worship is a conduit (carrier) for the tangible presence of God.
    4. Worship is a weapon. This is our weapon during warfares. Don’t wait for your victory before worshipping God. Declare victory over your and other people’s lives.
    5. Worship sets the captives free from those around us. Your worship blesses others too. Acts 16:25-34 – how beautiful and powerful worship is!
  • 11 years later, I’m back.

Back with a new account, under a new domain…..again.

Since my friends talked about the blogging era recently, I thought to myself, try ko kaya uli? Jusko self, pang-ilang ng try mo na yan since then?

As usual, ang dami kong thoughts:

    • ang ingay (at ang sensitive) na sa social media (and online, in general), baka magviral ka pa with a single post
    • dagdag na naman yan sa mga accounts na ihahandle mo, kakain na naman ng online time
    • anong theme? should I purchase a plan? more importantly, anong domain gagamitin ko? HAHAHA

But with everything that has been happening (and not happening as I hope it would, char) lately, I think this would be a good outlet. And hopefully, it will help. At dahil wala naman akong plan mag-identity reveal dito, it was a challenge to think of the domain name. There’s one I used in the past. Out of curiosity, I googled it to check the digital footprints it left and to my surprise, my old Tumblr account resurfaced! Meron pa pala talagang Tumblr!

It was like a short trip down the 2014 memory lane. Brought me back to the days when I was eagerly working on my lettering and calligraphy skills. I don’t have an iPad yet then, nor a drawing tablet, so I don’t know how to digitize my work. The header banner is a photo of my watercolor calligraphy with a background I cleaned up manually, I guess. Haha!

Then, I saw another account. See! Dami ko talagang accounts hahaha!

This one, is more personal, very personal. Nakakaloka, pano ko ba ittakedown yon? I can’t even remember the email address I used, more so the password. But that account is the most important above all. 2012 – 2013

It holds most of my thoughts, feelings, and prayers in one of the most vulnerable phases of my life. And reading through my posts, it really served its purpose – so I can look back on my experiences, including the learning, and most especially, to recall how good God was. Because of that, I can rest in the truth of who He is even at present – good, faithful, and loving.

That’s why I’m here again, taking note of the good things! ♡

  • Brain (& heart) dumping otw.

Before vlogging became a thing, there was blogging.

Few weeks ago, I was with my childhood besties, whom I have been friends earlier than Friendster era. We were laughing at how much have changed through the years as we remember the good old blogging days: WordPress, Blogspot, and Tumblr. Name it, I have an account on it. Accounts, actually.

Did I have an audience? Probably, yes. The same real-life circle who have accounts on the platform.

Was I consistent in putting out entries (content, as they refer to now in vlogging)? Nope. I’d be consistent for a few weeks, then I’ll be MIA.

Am I good in writing? Definitely not. Haha! But I enjoy processing my thoughts. I’m a journal junkie. Though I normally journal with my stash of notebooks, pens, stickers, and washi tapes, the online space is my easy go-to for days when I don’t have the time to craft.

And just exactly 4 months before turning 35, I’m back here buidling an online home for my daily musings.

    Magtutuloy-tuloy ba? We’ll see.
